Enough Already

I watch a lot of political broadcasts so I'm really tired of all the childish bickering on both sides. I've been around a looong time and have seen a lot of changes in this nation, but this that is going on right now has a different feel to it. Usually I am an optimist but it's hard to be so when it appears as if just about everything--jobs, reputation, dollar value, etc., is slowly sliding down that slippery slope the politicians and pundits are so fond of warning us about.

I'm griping about all this without the faintest idea of what an individual can do to help the situation. I have no idea.
